Dear AMSA Members, National AMSA has a partnership with the charity foundation called FACE AIDS. This program was designed to raise money to provide an education for those adolescents in Rwanda that have directly been influenced by AIDS. In order to raise money, a group of teens in Rwanda came together to make pins of of red and white beads, which depict the red AIDS flag. We are going to be selling these pins at every general meeting, and they are $5 each. 100% of the proceeds go to giving these teens and education, so I strongly encourage everyone to buy one. Also, if you would like to buy one outside of a meeting, you can contact me at

, and I can set up a time to meet you at the AMSA cube to buy one!
Thank you for your support! Lovingly, Grace-Marie Ottomanelli |

Dear AMSA Members: I highly encourage each of you to donate to the Nothing But Nets Organization. First off 100% of the proceeds goes to providing nets that are treated with pesticides to those people in Africa that are most at risk of contracting malaria. These nets are used to cover an entire family during the night to prevent them from getting bitten by mosquitoes that could be carrying the deadly disease, malaria. Each net is 10 dollars, and the organization sends you an e-mail that can be turned in for tax returns because you are donating to a charitable organization. If you would like to donate, please visit AMSA's personal donating page at: http://my.e2rm.com/personalPage.aspx?registrationID=473831 Thank you for your support, and have a great semester! Lovingly, Your Global Health Coordinator Grace-Marie Ottomanelli |
